A message from the Chairman
Did you know that the group represent you the patient and are a group of volunteer patients. We assist with the introduction of non-clinical services ie. counselling, loneliness etc and offer practical hands-on support to the practice such as health promotion events and annual flu jab clinics as examples.
We are seeking volunteers who are keen, focused and have a positive attitude to help the practice and local patient community. Formal training is not required to become a committee member of the group. Online access is essential as is commitment – broadly -meetings every 6 weeks and odd events form time to time.
The group are very friendly and desire to meet with likewise volunteers.
The Aims of the Patient Participation Group
At Mocketts Wood Surgery we are very proud of our surgery and staff and although we try to do a good job we are always looking at ways to improve our service to our patients.
We have a patient participation group so that you can make suggestions about the way we deliver services to our patients. We would like a wide range of our patients to take part so that the views are representative of the local population.
